As part of the Southeast Asian Heritage Lecture Series Ly Hang Lo will be sharing her story.

Lo has always wanted to be around sweets. Coming from a poor immigrant family with five sibling, she learned the importance of sharing at an early age. She was born in Thailand and has lived in 14 cities around the United States.

She became an entrepreneur with a passion for creating delicious treats. In 2009, she opened Sweets Bakeshop with the help of her husband and began serving her beautifully decorated cupcakes.
